My husband and I struggled with infertility for 7 years. I have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which can make getting pregnant difficult. But the Lord made me a promise: “If you trust Me, I will answer your prayers.”

So we held on tight to that call to obedience! We knew there were other things we could do to help us get pregnant, but in our particular case, we felt that we needed to wait and let the Lord work in His own time and way in order to fully experience all He had for us.

Through that time of waiting and trusting, the Lord was always so faithful to send friends and family to encourage us. We started going to a Friday night prayer meeting at the Source. One night I felt led to share our story and our desire to have a baby. The church embraced us and prayed for us, and I felt that something changed that night. Through the Lord’s faithfulness, we found out I was pregnant just a few months later.

The Lord keeps His promises. I am grateful for this journey, because through it we experienced the Lord in ways we never had before. Three years later, we are praising Him for this miracle: We now have two beautiful daughters. We couldn’t be more thankful. He is so good!
